We want to encourage and support the positive emotions of little children, such as “ I want to do this” and “ That looks fun.” The accumulation of experiences will enable them to think “ if I do this, it will be better” rather than “I shouldn’t have done it,” and it will lead to intellectual independence, having their own firm opinion.
We respect the innate desire of children to “develop themselves further” and bring out the potential of each individual to the maximum extent.
Here we provide many “real things” which are essential for the growth of infants and toddlers. We hope that by repeating real-life experiences, children will gain various kinds of knowledge and come to love themselves.

Montessori Education is based on the belief of the existence of the child’s ability to learn on their own. As you can see children learn to walk without being taught, they try to engage actively with their environment and absorb various things. In this way, they grow up and develop independence. Especially in the environment where the children’s inherent power can be fully brought out and children have freedom to act by themselves, they grow spontaneously, repeating these activities.
In Montessori Education, children choose the “materials” on their own will and do the “task”. In order for children to fully utilize their inherent abilities, we provide the environment carefully designed according to the developmental stage. Every aspect of how we arrange materials and how the teachers involve children matters. As children choose and engage in activities on their own, non-cognitive skills such as concentration, self-control and spontaneity are naturally nurtured. That is the important power and foundation for living in a society.
It is not just about being free and letting them do what they want. It is an educational method that has been carefully thought of with children in mind.
Our nursery school is one of the practical training schools for the Montessori Institute of Tokyo.
We have a spacious 1000 square meter garden where colorful flowers and trees are planted. You can feel the changing seasons throughout a year.
By playing freely in nature, children can develop love for nature and a sense of living in harmony with it.
The garden also features large wooden playground equipment made with the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Tree Education Project.
Through playing in such an environment, children will move their minds and bodies powerfully and achieve strong and balanced growth. Also, they are given chances to cook the vegetables they grow in the garden, which leads them to feel the connection with nature. They can encounter a lot of wonder by touching bugs and plants in their daily lives. This way, children will nurture the five senses and sensibility.
We cook all the children’s meals in our kitchen. Our full-time nutritionist and kitchen staff prepare handmade meals that are appropriate and meet the developmental needs of each child. The nutritional balance is of course important but we also believe that supporting children’s mental growth through experiences such as watching how their meals are prepared and feeling the sounds of cooking and smelling of food being prepared is important as well.
We provide each meal consisting of one soup, three dishes and fruit.. Our nutritionist tries to introduce a lot of fish dishes. Also, we have a contract with a bakery which bakes additive-free bread. We are always pouring our heart into making the meal table diverse, nutritious and spiritually rich.
